Mistakes happen, it’s how we fix them that matters. And too often people are fast to complain and never say when things go right. So as a new fan to this place, I want to say thanks. Firstly, the food is absolutely brilliant here. Tasty, fresh, with just the right amount of sauce, non greasy chicken balls and (very rare!) brilliant chips. The food is excellent, in other words. Tonight we waited a long time for delivery (in fairness it’s Saturday, so to be expected) when I called again I was told it was on its way. Unfortunately half an hour later it still wasn’t here so I called again and the nice lady who always answers the phone could be heard in the background trying to figure out what was wrong. Turns out the order went to the wrong place. It happens. But the big success was the apology and the food turning up piping hot within 10 minutes. The guy apologised and waited at the door while we checked the order was complete, which it was. The food was brilliant as usual. Thanks for admitting a mistake and putting it right, in the best way! ⭐️

Chicken curry and spicy Indonesian noodles 🍜 bang on taste wise. Boiled rice was not surprising not up to much though. June 2024. 2 Meal was lovely well cooked and tasty. The flavours were delicious. Rice still could be better though.

Absolutely amazing Chinese! Best Chinese we have ever had! The portion sizes were huge and price was very cheap compared to at home. We were on holiday in the area from Kent and I would 100% go back there if I could. Slightly annoying that they are cash only as the nearest cash point was a few minutes away but it was definitely worth it.

Have just started using this place, the quality of the food is great and the prices are excellent. As a house of non-meat eaters Star Wok gives us more options than most Chinese take away restaurants, the mock chicken also comes with a selection of crunchy veg, this is a great touch and again reduces the price as most places charge extra for adding mixed veg. I would like to see them offer tofu as an option but I get that it's not a big seller, we have to drive out of town for that. The service is fast and friendly, the front of house is very clean and well presented. Very glad we tried this restaurant, it's a bonus that it is so close to my house too!
